Venus Nguyen Sprints Towards Fitness Elite
If you think keeping up with Venus Nguyen might be a bit exhausting, you’re not alone. The speedy 5-foot-1 brunette was an accomplished track and field star growing up in Oregon, no doubt leaving a few behind wheezing in a haze of dust as she raced past them to the finish.
Venus earned the badge of state champion in the 400-meter during high school and lettered in cross country. She went on to continue competitive sprinting during college, adding the 800-meter to her resume as an Arizona State Sun Devil.
Today, the tireless 28-year-old shows no indication of slowing down and has in fact revved up her engine — adding explosive muscle to a well balanced and beautifully feminine physique — for fitness competitions.
Now living in Southern California, Venus is feeling at home in her new sport as well. She captured third place at the Border States Championships and won the fitness class at the Los Angeles Championships last year.
She took her show on the road at the recent Arnold Amateur, where Venus claimed fourth place in the short class — turning heads with a high energy routine punctuated by her sexy athleticism and bulbous, stunningly magnificent calves.
If getting swept up in the whirlwind doesn’t make you too dizzy, Venus is definitely a talent to watch.
