Bodybuilder Maryann Glascock is another promising young athlete making her debut on the Studio. The 23-year-old from Northern Virginia is off and running after just two competitions — the Arnold Amateur (4th, lightweights) and the North Americans (3rd, lightweights) — and looks to build on a solid start next season.

The 5-foot-4, feathery-blonde is the star of a richly scenic shoot which took place the day after the North Americans in Cleveland. With fighter jets zooming along during the summer Air show leaving puffy white tails of exhaust in the background, you almost overlook Maryann’s chiseled bicep peaks and dazzling vascularity in the foreground. But not quite.

Jets, Jets, Jets! -- Nevermind, Maryann is a Redskins fan.

Meanwhile, Maryann is photographed against the backdrop of the expressionistic Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, famous for darting and cantilevering out into Lake Erie. It’s here where two painstaking achievements — the striking angles of creative architecture and the sculpted angles of hard-earned muscle definition — converge in a singular visual delight.
