Figure Girl Carole Uhrig Thrives in Excessive Heat

Summer heat and humidity in the big city is no picnic. If you’re not choking through the smog and fumes emanating from Chi-town’s famous rapid transit system outside, you’re slowly drifting into a soporific haze from the superfluous flow of air conditioning freon inside.

Still, at least numbers-wise, it beats the scorching desert — high temperature in Phoenix today, a toasty 110 degrees; tomorrow, 112 — I don’t care what they say, dry or not, hot is still hot. Or at least, that’s what I tell myself.

But enough of that. My thematic weather discourse was just a ruse to lead into today’s subject, new Kriv model and Phoenix-native Carole Uhrig, whose blazing streak on the figure stage is uncannily comparable to those sizzling Southwest sands.

Carole has been rocking the tall class lately, with first place finishes at this year’s California State and Contra Costa events and a second place finish (edged out by overall winner Parilee Selby) at the Orange County Muscle Classic. Indeed, such a string of success could be a harbinger that an overall win — and a Pro Card — is within the steely grasp of this lovely, strapping blond.

On the Studio, Carole’s warm skin tone and hot-looks are tantalizingly tempered by the cool colors of her sporty outfit — a fetching teal top with black workout shorts and blue-streaked running shoes — and the contrast is refreshing like an autumnal zephyr.

Oops, there I go again. Time for some ice water.
