Comeback Kid: Former fitness, figure competitor Jill Brooks returns strong in physique division.
Jill Brooks is a new face on the studio this week but is well known to longtime fans. She was a nationally ranked fitness competitor and also spent time as a figure girl during her on-again, off-again time in the sport which began in 1999. Last year, the 36-year-old mom from Dallas, Texas returned with a flourish as a physique competitor and secured a top ten finish in the medium class at the NPC Nationals.
Judging by pictures like this one from her shoot in Florida, it looks like the 5-foot-5, 135-pound former cheerleader hasn’t missed a beat training behind the scenes. Keep an eye on Jilly in 2012 if the competition bug bites again. Meanwhile, there’s more to come as she teamed up with the phenomenal Cassie Rowe in a bonus Sisters in Arms segment coming soon.
