Ann Titone Wins Class, Florida Shines at Jr. USAs

Class Act: Ann is back on the NPC radar after a dazzling turn at the Junior USAs.

A resplendent and radiant Ann Titone was the sleeper hit at the Junior USAs this past weekend in South Carolina, pulling off a surprise win in a deep class C stacked with 25 competitors. It was an epic resurgence for the multi-talented figure girl from St. Louis — coming off a disappointing 12th-place finish at Nationals to close out last season — and redeems a puzzling streak of six events on the national stage without a top five finish.

If her luck continues, this has the makings of a storybook year for Ann. She’s already made waves off stage as a co-promoter after her debut show, the NPC Midwest Novice Classic, was a success in her hometown just over a month ago. This time she made waves on stage, bringing her best physique ever to Charleston and emerging a legitimate pro card contender.

To mark the occasion, here’s a highlight of Ann from her silky shoot in Las Vegas last fall — combining shapely muscle with feminine style in her elegant, spaghetti-strapped dress.

Ironically, the two biggest figure winners at the Junior USAs were a pair of competitors vastly dissimilar in height yet from the same hometown along the Florida Panhandle. Shortie Andrea Watson (class A and overall winner) and 5-foot-7 Gennifer Strobo (class F winner), both Pensacola residents, each claimed the first pro cards of the year.
