Many of you were so excited about news of Erin Riley coming to the site that it would be entirely unsportsmanlike not to celebrate the studio debut of this profoundly gifted, Olympia-caliber fitness pro. Ergo, here’s a few new pics from her shoot along with links to some underrated, possibly overlooked training vids.

Always looking for a challenge, Tiger Eyes demonstrated her tremendous toughness in a pair of extreme fitness clips filmed at a gym full of strongman competitors near her hometown in Fairfield, New Jersey. Check out parts one and two on her YouTube channel — these are brilliant!

What this phenomenally strong, 5-foot-4 brunette does during these gritty workouts — repeatedly flipping monstrous semi-truck tires, performing full-range pushups with heavy metal chains draped over her back, doing overhead presses using huge steel drums — might have led you to believe she was training for the Ultimate Fighting Championships, not prepping for the Fitness International earlier this year.

Fitness Fortified: Like many top competitors, Erin traces her solid foundation to fifteen years worth of gymnastics training, including a spot on the team at the University of Missouri.

Call it a little crazy, but maybe Erin’s brand of edgy intensity and whatever-it-takes passion for getting better and stronger is what helped catapult her into the IFBB ranks after only two shows, the shortest route possible. Erin turned pro two years ago at Team Universe, when she was still only 22, and has shared the stage with the best ever since.

Crazy? Maybe. Crazy like a fox? Definitely.

Erin is closing in on a return to the Fitness Olympia this year.

And she continues to improve this year, recently climbing to fourth place at the Europa Show of Champions, one spot shy of a second straight Olympia berth. If she doesn’t qualify sooner, bet on Erin punching her ticket to Las Vegas at the Atlantic City Pro in September.

Distinguished by boundless energy and amazing athleticism, dynamic routines and breathtaking strength, this highly skilled young superstar has what it takes to reach the top of her sport. Combine cover girl looks with a flawless physique and it’s no wonder why fans can’t get enough of Erin.
